May 24 : The Home Minister, Mr. Shivraj Patil assured the military that the government will try to remove anomalies in the implementation of the 6th Central Pay Commission recommendations. He also told that the government will make all out efforts to make country’s para-military forces capable of facing challenges. He also underlined the need for equipping them with the latest technologies. Mr. Patil was speaking at an Investiture Ceremony of the Boarder Security Forces (BSF) in New Delhi on Saturday.

Earlier, he gave away Police Medals for Gallantry, Police medal for meritorious services and U N Peace Keeping Medals to several of BSF personnel on the occasion.
