LTC Acceptance
Written by Administrator on September 23rd, 2008The Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance & Pension Department of Personnel Training has issued office memorandum related to the acceptance of sixth pay commission recommendations on LTC. The main points are
- Parents dependent on the Govt. employees are eligible for LTC irrespective of whether they are staying with Government employee or not.
- Fresh employees can avail 3 home town travel and one to any place in India during the first two block of for years.
- Travel entitlements for LTC will be same as that of official tour with no daily allowance.

As per OM F.No. 31011/4/2008-Estt.(A) dated 23.9.2008 in Rule 12 Entitlement, it is written that entitlement for tour and LTC will be same. Again the second line says Government vehicle is must though for tour taxi is allowed for road journey not connected by train. Please clarify.

My basic pay in the old pay in the scale of 4000-100-6000 is Rs. 4100(on 1.1.06)

What is the crietria of dependent of parrents for LTC pointof view.

Can anybody clarify me abt the minimu income of the parents to be declared as fully dependent? At present it is Rs.1500/-p.m. will it be gng to be revised?

In sixth paycommission my scale has been fixed to 9300-34800 and grade pay 4200. Tell me whether I will be able to avail first class accomodation in railways. I am working with Indian Railways.

I am running in grade pay 1900 & I want to go on LTC delhi to kanyakumari vivekanand rock via trivandrum by Rajdhani Express on AC III Tier. Am I in title as above train ( Rajdhani Express because the fare is extra than other epress train & food charged includes in this train.

I am presently in the grade pay of Rs. 4200. I am availing Home Travel Concession for the block years 2010-2011 for which I am entitled to travel by IIAC. I wish to go to my Home Town by a private airline. Shall I be entitled to reimbursement of IIAC fare even if I travel by private airline.
