ACP (Assured Career Progression) clarification will be expected in next week
Written by Administrator on February 24th, 2009The committee meeting was held on 19-Feb-2009 at New Delhi. The following points were finalized as per the information received.
1. Assured Career Promotion (III – ACP) order will be announced next week.
2. Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 for Pharmacist will be discussed in the next meeting.
3. Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 will be given to Master Crafts Man (MCM), agreed by the Finance Ministry.

sir, i ,s.c.mukherjee,udc of institute of forest productivity,ranchi. i got acp on 2-2-2007 after completion of 24 years service and pay was fixed to 5000-150-8000 from 4000-100-6000(pre-revised). after implementation of 6th cpc my institute is fixing my pay band 5200-20200 and grade pay 2800/- for acp fixation. what will be my exact pay band and grade pay.i’m in confusion that i should get grade pay of rs.4200/-. please inform me in my email mukherjeesc@icfre.org.

Please let us know the latest information about ACP(Modified), Sixth CPC. A long period has already been passed since the clarification is awaiting. Lot of pay fixations according to the sixth pay commision are still pending fixation. In the meeting held on 19-02-2009 some information were only given. We are eagerly waiting for the complete orders regarding ACP.

Dear Sir,
Please clarify I joined the GoI on 12.11.1984 in CSS and thereafter I qualified open examination of SSC for Grade III Stenographer in 1992. After that I qualified LDE Exam Gr II Exam in 1996 conducted by SSC and joined in March 1997. What will be the criteria for promotion for me in respect of ACP granted by VIth Pay Commission. I have not been given promotion by Government of India, on its own, till date?

it is requested that the acp is to be recommended for govt. employees should be in hierarchy cadre otherwise unjustification for remaining staff because who did not get any promotion for a long time it will be their loss.

Sir, in reference to your reply on 3rd March, 2009 at 1-05 pm regarding clarification of ACP, after that no reply has been seen in the net. Since I’m a sufferer of ACP fixation , wherein I’m losing lump sum of money in my arrear and pay fixation on 6th cpc on Assured Career Progression. Since the MACPS has already been ordered, but the order of the grade pay of MCM is still pending which was agreed by the Finance Minister as Written by Administrator on February 24th, 2009.
In our department the post of MCM is an elevation not promotion. So what will the grade pay for MCM in this regard. Will it be 2800 and 4200. What happen if some is eligible for both MACPS (10 years in a grade pay) and also qualify for MCM at the same time.
What will be benificial in that case MACPS or MCM ?

I have not offered any promotion for UDC
As per new ACP scheme when will I get it and what will be by new grade pay.
Present Grade Pay is 1900.

I HAVE JOINED 21/5/1978 SACLE 4000/6000. PROMOTED SACLE 5000/8000 FEOM 13/02/1989. AS PER NEW ACP RULE WHEN WILL I GETNEW GRADE& 2ND & 3RD ACP. MY BASIC ON 1/1/2006 IS 7100. PL CLIRIFY.

I was appointed as Technical Assistant in the scale of 425-700 in April 1985. Pay was revised with effect from 1-7-88 through an Office Order No.423105/88 dated 5-12-88 of the institute to a scale of 1640-2900 i.e. 5th pay commission’s equivalent scale of 5500-9000/-. I was reappointed in August 2000 as Senior Technical Assistant through an open interview with appropriate qualification as mentioned in the advertisement of the Institute in same scale i.e. 5500-9000/- and same department of the Institute, without considering any financial benefit. Even Increment date was also remained unchanged. Now without any financial benifit since year July 1988, I am placed in 4200/- Grade Pay, after completion of 24 years of regular service in the same institute.
After completion of 24 years other SAs / TAs of Institute have got a scale of 6500-10550/-. My case is not considered as now myself is STA who haven”t completed 12 years as STA. In Swami News published in September 2001 please refer to Clarification of doubt no. 36 of it and Doubt Nos. 4 to 6 in DoP & T, O. M., dated 10-02-2000.
Kindly provide information that-
1) Whether I should upgraded to higher scale in August 2000 itself as completed 12 years in the same scale i.e. 5500-9000/- in which I was absorbed.?
2) Kindly provide detailed rules along with implementation dates for my case regarding ACP.
3) By Modified ACP rules, when & how many times I have to get benefits of ACP.
4) Increment rules if any employee promoted but in same scale through an open interview.

I am continuously working in central government without break of service for 29 years in the same initial grade. I have been transferred on own request from Nagpur Division to Pune division in the year 2003 with bottom seniority. Will i get financial up-gradation under the MACP scheme?

Sir,I have joined in forest deptt,Orissa on 18.2.1974 as forester and retired on30.6.2009 in the same post.I have received advancement scale w.e.f 01.02.1989 after complision of 15 years service in same post . Again on 01.01.1996 received orissa time bound advancement scale of pay rule 1998 as per rule 8(2)(3) after completing 22 years of service in the same post.Now question arises whether I am eligible to get the ACP for 25years and 30 years both.Please reply.
