There ia a good chance of the announcement regarding the second instalment (60% arrears) of sixth Pay Commission for Central Government employees during the Independence Day (15th August 2009) Speech by our Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Manmohan Singh.

Only during the celbrations of Indepandance Day, PM announced acceptance of 6 PC recommendations. We may hope such announcment on 15th Aug.

my monthly salay now drawn as Rs17000/ pm as my basic was Rs5900/ on the pay scale of 4500-150-9000 (5th cpc) please calculate and confirm as is it correct.please give reply to e mail address as early as possible.

central government (Babu’s ) planned to take 60% arrears of 6th CPC. but they don’t want to revise the salaries of Academicians working in centrally funded Technical institutions . It is great insult to the teaching fraternity.
Let them enjoy. power is in their hand, whether academicians family live or die it is immaterial for Babu’s and politicians,

We expected the order would come within 31st August, 2009 but not likely in speech of Prime Minister on the occasion of Independence Day, 2009, because the speech is for whole country and we are not representing whole country. Any way, it is good news to us!

How do you feel this news as an amusement , the government already announce about the same last year. it is only the delayed part payment of the aired news , on which basis government politisized the issue and gained its vote bank. the every thing was planned by that time FM , the timing of setting up of pay commisison , the extension of time for submission, wiilingfull delayed after submission , setting up another committee so that issued can be as much as closed to the tiime of election so that every drop of payment to its servants may be encashed in terms of vote for their party. And moreover the news about payment of increased salary was aired by media in society in early April 2009 and all other section raised their charges well in advanceand the government started to suffer from very begining. Further all the amount paid or yet to be paid beared heavy taxation and not much in hand due to increased inflation rate specialy for common dailly life items. All are these are only due to raised in public expenditure in terms of raising the salary structure, waving of farmers loan , as all these only benfited either to the big farmers, big baboos and last but not least only to a political party enjoyed only on the base of public money.

Our Union leaders that working at All India level should take responsibility and an initiative so that we can get the 2nd installment of arrears made due to 6th CPC as early as possible and that would be with out Tax deduction. We may hope such announcment on 15th Aug. but the Union Leaders t has no control on this so-called central government’s Babus (Babudisum).

Dear Brijender 2nd Installment of arrears is always taxable. If including this arrears your gross total income became taxable you may opt to deduct tax from it, otherwise you may opt to deduct it from monthly pay and allowances. If your Chapter VIA deductions was more than the minimum amount to be deducted to escape tax for the FY 05-06, 06-07, 07-08 and 08-09 you may got relief u/s 89. it will be a good announcement for middle class Govt servents who are facing heavy debts due to rise in the day to day purchase of materials from the markets such as rice, doll etc we will be grateful to our Finance minister and Prime Minister if the Govt annouces the speedy disbursement of 60% arrears of 6th cpc if The honourable PM announces its disbursement
before 15 Aug 2009. Also the employees will be totally benefited if the income tax for this 60% arrears is waved. we the central Govt emloyees beg the The Honourable Finance minister and the Honourable Prime Minister to consider our humble requests please

Govt. said that payment of 2nd installment will be made by the next financial year. But general employees like me feels that the payment will be very much helpfull to the employees of all levels if it is made before Durga Puja Festival. But alas! no positive information is forthcoming , only gossip everywhere.

The railway minister Smt. Mamata Banergee has issued a confidential circular, to delay the payment of pay commission arrears. When the Union leaders came to know about this, they protested. She had ordered an enquiry, how a confidential circular was leaked to the union leaders.

Thanks, atleast no need to apply for loan to fullfill our day to day routine expediture, if arrear gets before Diwali.
