‘ Congratulations’! to Pay Scale holders of 5000, 5500 & 6500/- .
(i) What about the fate of those who were enjoying in scale Rs. 7450-11500/- ?
(ii) What about those Govt. Servants ( i) Asstt. Scale Officers like APO, ASTE, AME, AEE etc. who are getting Scale in Rs. 15600-39100/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5400 after having put their service 3 yerars only, whereas their counterparts like Private Secretary(GAZ) after having put their service 4 years gets Grade Pay Rs.5400 in scale Rs. 9300-34800, Why this anomaly have not been considered till date? Would the Anomaly Committee look into this sympathetically. Can anybody like to give any information in this connexion.

The primary teachers were earlier given this pre-revised scale of 6500-10,500 and than were put in the new scale of 9300-34,800 with grade pay of 4200, will this merger imply on them ?

6 cpc put jr hindi translator on 6500-10500 and grade pay 4200
Are they entiltled for 4600 grade pay?
December 1st, 2009 at 8:46 pm
There is no separate order necessary for claiming the revised Grade pay of 4600/-. This is applicable only for the following 2 types of officials:
(1) Those who were drawing 6500-10,500 in the 5th cpc and
(2) for those who were in the pre-revised scales of 5000-8000 and 5500-9000 which was “replaced” with 6500-10,500 and drawing grade pay of Rs.4200 w.e.f.1.1.2006.
The important lines in the OM dated 13.11.2009 are reproduced below:
1st line OM:
Sixth Pay commission recommended merger of the three pre-revised scales of Rs.5000-8000, Rs.5500-9000 and Rs.6500-10500 and “REPLACED” by the revised pay structure of grade pay of Rs.4200
1st para of 2nd page of OM:
The matter has been considered and it has now been decided that the posts which were granted the normal “REPLACEMENT” pay structure of grade pay of Rs.4200 in the pay band PB-2, will be granted pay of Rs.4600 in the pay band PB-2.
Since the merged scales were replaced with 6500-10,500 from 1.1.2006 and were drawing 4200, there is no question of doubt that they are also eligible as per OM. Moreover, there was no other replaced scale after merging these scales. Since it was a replacement scale only the maximum of the pay was taken for granting grade pay from 1.1.2006 (40% of 10,500= 4200) and that is revised now to 4600/-

As on 1.1.2006 I was holding the post of Assistant (Re-designated as Jr. Section Officer ) in the pay scale of Rs.5000-8000 in an autonomous body under Ministry of Power. My promotion cadere was Section Officer in the pre-revised pay scale of Rs.6500-10500. On 1.6.2006 I was given ACP of my promotion scale of Rs.6500-10500. On implementation of 6th pay scale I was granted grade pay of Rs.4200. After introducing of Revised grade pay of Rs.4600 to the posts existed in the pay scale of Rs.6500-10500 on 1.1.2006 our office has denied to grant revised grade pay on the plea that it is applicable only to person actually working on the post of Section Officer in the pay scale of Rs.6500-10500 not to other who were granted their promotional scale of Rs.6500-10500 under ACP. Kindly advise me

Pre-revised pay scale of Rs.6500-10500 has been upgraded to pre-revised 7450-11500 and a common grade pay of Rs.4600 has been allowed. The other pay scale of Rs.500-8000 and 5500-9000 have been upgraded to 6500-10500. BY doing this Govt. has segrecated the pay scale of Rs.6500-10500 among the earlier category of 6500-10500,5500-9000 and 5000-8000.

I am working in the pre-revised scale of Rs.5000-8000 and drawing the scale of pay of Rs.5450/- Now in the 6th pay recommendation my pay is fixed as 1.86 of 5450/-. in the scale of pay Rs.9300-34800 with Grade pay of Rs.4200/- As per O.M. dated 13-11-09 in my office saying that the revised G.P. is only eligible for those who drawn their revised scale of pay of Rs.6500-10500/. Rs.4600 is eligible for those who drawn the scale of Rs.5000 5500 and 6500 all are entitled for the new G.P. from Rs.4200/ to 4600/- But in my office says that only those who drawn the pre-revised scale of Rs.6500 are only eligible for the new Gp of Rs.4600 as per O.M. Is it correct or not.
It seems, Supreme Court of India has implemented 4600 gp to PAs/Assistants.
Kindly clarify, that am i eligible for gp 4600 .
I think pay should be fixed at 9300 X 1.86 with gp 4600.
March 17th, 2010 at 5:07 pm
Now, that 6500 scale is merged with 7450 with GP 4600/-, what about the MACP of the people who are already in 7450 scale. After 20 yrs of service in the 6500 and 7450 put together, they should be given 5400 GP. Any comments on this ?

Dear Sir,
Can you clarify the matter please!.
How to merge with the Group B Gazetted officers (6500 scale) with Non gazetted officials ie., Group C.(5000 & 5500 scales).
The work efficiency is more to the Group B Gazetted officers. Why it was not considered. Qualification wise for group C officials Diploma or equivalant only is enough. But for Group B Gazetted officers needs Degree qualification particularly in Technical. For a section officer needs only Art degree but in Technical side Group B gazetted officers needs B.E. qualification which is slightly less than the MBBS. If any arts degree holders i.e., section offficers got B.E., seat after their +2 level whether they like to join in the Arts degree or B.E. degree.?,
