By the same rule a person availing the facility in February will get more money than a person availing the facility in January, which sounds absurd. I find that the the fomula for computing encashment fo earned leave at the time of retirement is (monthly salary/30)*number of days of EL to be encashed. Is there a clear cut order which says that the number of days in a month that should be taken while computing the amount due while encashing the EL with LTC is 30?. If there is any, please send me the details so that I can pass them to the administration.
