Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) extended till December 14

The second edition of India's Great Online Shopping Festival, which started yesterday, will now go on till Saturday, 14 December 2013 instead of Friday. E-commerce firms said even the initial problems faced by the GOSF site on its launch day has not doused the enthusiasm of the online shoppers and they are witnessing growing numbers on their platforms.

Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) organised by google is on now. You can avail deals and discounts from over 200 online shopping portals. The festival will continue till December 13, 2013.

A lot, also depends on stocks, so if you're hunting for deals and come across a good one, it makes sense to grab it as soon as possible.

Participating e-commerce retailers are offering some good deals on electronics and on mobile phones and tablets.Flipkart is offering a 15% discount on select 4th generation and 3rd generation iPads; it is selling the base variant of first-generation Nexus 7 tablet at Rs 7,999, the lowest price tag for the model till now. The site is also offering a discount of up to 15% discount on select mobile phones including on the Nokia Lumia 520, Google Nexus 4 and Sony Xperia E. You can also get Rs 5,000 off on select HP laptops and convertibles.



Amazon India (Amazon.in) also has some good deals in store. It is offering the base version of iPad 4 at Rs 22,790, while the Kindle Paperwhite e-reader entails a discount of Rs 1,500. It's also offering the Nokia Lumia 520 at Rs 7,050 and Asha 501 at Rs 3,889. There are discounts on mobile accessories such as Bluetooth headsets and wireless speakers, as well. Amazon is also giving a 25% discount on select cameras.
