Kerala Govt. constitutes committee to review NPS for scraping The Kerala Government have constituted a committee to review the National Pension System. The committee will be comprised of the following members
  1. S.Satheesh Chandra Babu, Retired District Judge(Chairman)
  2. P.Marapandian, IAS (Retd.)
  3. Prof. D.Narayana, Director, GIFT

The terms of reference of the committee will cover the following points
  1. Review the legal and financial implications of restoring the statutory pension scheme
  2. Study the impact of restoring the statutory pension scheme on the aspects abiding the terms of the Central Finance Commission
  3. Study the impact on the contracts with NPS and NSDL
  4. How to manage the contributions made to the NPS
  5. Study the experience of other states where contributory pension scheme was introduced
